Hello everyone, I’m about to buy a new specialized Diverge sport carbon with Sram Apex 1 groupset . My previews Gravel bike was a Diverge with claris groupset . Will I see a big difference and any of you have some feedback to give me on the SRAM Apex? Thank you very much and have a good day !
I know you can't mix a SRAM shifter with a Shimano derailleur (and vice-versa), at least according to Google since each 'click' moves the derailleur a different amount for each manufacturer. But what about cassettes and front chainrings? Has anybody successfully used a SRAM cassette with a Shimano derailleur or vice versa?
Shimano Deore. I ride SRAM GX and it’s really good for the price, but the SX and NX stuff isn’t up to par. Especially the SX. NX is OK, maybe closer to Deore.
I just has the SAME EXACT thing happen today with my 8 month old Sram RedAXS front derailleur. Just got a new frameset and built it up last night, the front derailleur was absolutely perfectly fine until i went to install it on the new bike.
Question about Sram Axs Road WIDE crankset vs. normal Axs Road. I understand that the Axs crankset comes in two widths-- Road and Road WIDE, meant to be natively compatible with a 68mm vs 73mm bb shell, and that the Road WIDE is meant to offer additional clearance for a wider tire.
Rear derailleur is good, I've preferred SRAM shift logic already (I have it on my gravel bike), I really like the look of the new force crankset, and the SRAM app is much better than the Shimano one in my experience. I was resistant to buying a bike with force - but bought a bike on a great black Friday deal and Ultegra Di2 wasn't an option.
There are some positives, like more even spacing between gears and a stronger clutch/less chainslap. However those ends don't justify the means to me. I've also been going back and forth with Sram support for over a month and have had multiple bike shops take a look, so it isn't a setup issue. If you're thinking about 'upgrading', at least demo a bike with Transmission first. Share Sort by ...
I have the choice of 2 bikes, one has ultegra Di2 & one has SRAM rival eTap AXS, the SRAM one is a better frame, they are around the same price. What's the difference between the two groupsets?
Hi, all the posts I find are comparissions between sram rival axs vs 105 di2 and ultegra di2 12 speed vs sram force axs. But from what I see the weight of 105 di2 and sram force axs is similar. And from a video posted by gcperformance you can save 70g on 105 di2 by changing the rotors for ultegra ones.
