The recent Samsung Clock app update, which is gradually rolling out, showcases the design elements and changes that were expected out of the next UI version, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update.

The updated Clock app brings several changes to its design and functionality. One of the main updates is the refreshed user interface, featuring increased contrast for easier reading and navigation.

Samsung is seemingly removing the lock screen widget carousel in One UI 7. In One UI 6 and earlier, you were able to tap the clock on the lock screen to show a vertically scrolling list of widgets.
