UPC Section 1212.8, Sediment traps shall be installed downstream of the appliance shut off, as close to the inlet as practical, and BEFORE the flex connector. In this state we are required to use the flex connectors due to the amount of seismic activity. If you read this I hope you have a great day & that I cleared some things
