I love when the Holy Spirit gives me phrases to you for my kids! I’ve always been a supporter of “take ‘can’t’ out your vocabulary”, but I remember the first time Josiah told me he couldn’t do something. I told him not to say that and then quickly realized I didn’t have anything to replace it with. I remember asking the Lord, “If he shouldn’t say ‘can’t’, what should I tell him to say instead to express his need for help?” Boom. “I can do it, I just need help” was birthed!
